Relocating to Koh Samui from Cirencester, UK, in 2005, David's love affair with Thailand began in 1990, with Koh Samui emerging as his favoured destination. Motivated by the prospect of a new business venture, he made the bold decision to establish a thriving rental enterprise on the island. With a background in Cirencester's flooring business, coupled with extensive involvement in property development and rental, David's passion for creating diverse properties flourished in the UK. Seeking a fresh challenge, the allure of Koh Samui became irresistible. Since his move, David has successfully crafted 15 properties, including 11 luxurious villas available for rental. Ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, each villa boasts its own private swimming pool, with four offering breathtaking ocean views, all designed in unique and tropical styles. Notably, our flagship Villa Moonstone, a source of great pride, reached completion in January 2020. Navigating the complexities of villa development in a culturally diverse environment has presented intriguing challenges for David, but the rewards have surpassed expectations. The process has allowed him to push the boundaries of creativity and inspiration, resulting in a portfolio of remarkable properties. At Peacefulvillas, David is fuelled by a strong sense of motivation and dedication, engaging with visitors from around the globe who choose to stay and often return to our exclusive villas. In the past 21 years on the island, he has only returned to Europe twice, briefly visiting Milan and Madrid for the love of football and to support his beloved Spurs in the Champions League.

Hideaway is a beautiful, tropical style 2 Bedroom Villa set in unspoiled south of Koh Samui, just 150 mtrs from Laem Set beach. It is the perfect romantic getaway for couples, and accommodates for up to 4 guests. Hideaway has two spacious, double Bedrooms with king size beds, two Bathrooms, both with walk in showers and one with large bath tub, fitted Kitchen, exotic Balinese/Thai style open plan Living & Dining area, also an additional Indoor Living area with air conditioning, salt water swimming pool, tropical garden and wrap around Lotus Pond with colourful carp, catfish and turtles. There are two Living areas: One open plan with also a Dining area with table and chairs and three overhead fans; A second Indoor Living area with air conditioning and overhead fans; Both have large screen SMART TVs with Netflix, Youtube etc. The fitted Kitchen has large fridge/freezer, gas hob, toaster, microwave, blender, kettle, coffee maker, rice cooker and washing machine. Two double bedrooms have king size beds, air conditioning and overhead fans. Bedroom 1 with french doors leads out to the lovely decking and salt water swimming pool. The swimming pool with a lovely tropical garden, sun deck, sun beds and sun umbrellas where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful tropical ambiance at the villa. Gas barbecue located at the poolside. Hideaway Villa is located in the charming local area of Laem Sett in the southern part of the island. Five to 10 minutes drive are fine restaurants serving both delicious Thai and European food. Laem Sett is an attractive area with small, local beach 150 mtrs walk from the villa. It has quiet and secluded in a natural, unspoiled area. Located on the beach is the popular Thai style Cool Bar. You can enjoy lovely food and drinks, whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere. Also is a nearby, smart Hotel with restaurant and a couple of bars. Few minutes walk from Hideaway Villa is Pole Pole Restaurant. 7-Elevens and Tops Daily, the local 24 hour shops, all have ATMs, and only few minutes drive or 8 minute walk from the villa. Also here is the popular Baan Lamon Restaurant. Ten minute drive is Lamai beach with its excellent restaurants and water sports along the beach. Many of the island's main attractions are less than 10-minute drive from the villa such as Elephant trekking, Waterfalls, Thai boxing etc. A 25 minute drive is the seaside town of Chaweng. We can arrange a car or moped rental for you. Please contact us for details. Please note: All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred. It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand. All our vehicles will have a full tank of petrol for you. Please ensure you return the vehicle at the end of your stay with a full tank. No 'off-roading' or driving in harsh terrain. The rental car is not to be driven off the island. For grocery shopping, Lotus's Superstore and the popular large food supermarket, Makro, both located in Lamai, are only a 12 min drive from the villa. Nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes drive away.
