My name is Julian and I am from near Oxford in England. I have lived here in Thailand with my wife Pao, and our two sons Ben and Johnny for the last 26 years. Ben, who is now grown up is our main receptionist and speaks English and Thai perfectly.

Property info

With a tree filled garden overlooking the Mekong River, Mut Mee is a perfect place to make new friends and relax. We pride ourselves on offering a warm, personal experience with lots of information about festivals and things to do in the surrounding area. Mut Mee is more than just a guest house, but also a community with people coming here to work as digital nomads, and to find out about life in north east Thailand.

Neighborhood info

Nong Khai (Naga city with more than 500 Naga images) is a rich experience which as yet remains largely undiscovered. With a world famous Sculpture Park, a Historical park with habitation stretching back 3500 years, the wonderful Taa Sadej Market, a festival along the river bank every Saturday night, an Aquarium with Giant Cat Fish it is North East's Thailand's most exciting town.
