Offering fantastic sea views out to the horizon of the Andaman Sea from each villa's large hard wood balconies, views to the surrounding island of Koh Rok in the distance, and to the surrounding national park rainforests. Villa Ayutthaya is constructed using the extremely rare Golden Teak Wood (Tectonis Grandis). Due to the rising high costs of Golden Teak, Villa Ayutthaya is one of the only villas in southern Thailand that is constructed using this traditional style. Villa Ayutthaya features a large 7m private swimming pool in the fenced and landscaped backyard, courtyard, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, multiple large sea view balconies, a bar that opens out onto the huge hardwood sea view terrace, a separate outdoor dining and entertaining area by the pool, modern kitchens, high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows and two living rooms. We are a couple from Thailand and Portugal/France living in Switzerland. We fell in love with Kantiang Bay which is the very south and still untouched part of Koh Lanta. We own and manage two villas (Siam Lanna and Ayutthaya) next to each other which we love to share with our guests with a great passion for hospitality and high-standard services. Villa Ayutthaya has everything we dreamed of about a holiday retreat and the Ba Kantiang area is the most laid-back, relaxing yet lively area we found in Thailand so far! We are near the centre of the village, so the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, eateries, bars, 711 convenience store and ATMs are all within a 10 minutes walk from the pool villa! There are other bays and beaches around, but Kantiang Bay is the best!
