The villa is a spacious 2 Storey Thai style villa located directly on the beach, complete with Wi-Fi. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet. The master bedroom located on the first floor opens onto a large outside balcony with spectacular views of the gardens, beach and ocean. A twin-bed bedroom, main bathroom and separate lounge area are also located on the first floor. On the ground floor there is the third bedroom, second bathroom and separate toilet. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge and dining area. A ground floor terrace at the side of the villa overlooks the pool and gardens whilst an open verandah at the front overlooks the garden and the beach. The verandah contains both lounge and dining areas. The villa is fitted with air conditioning and fans throughout the property. There are mosquito nets in all bedrooms and gates across all stairways. The villa is set in lush, tropical and well-maintained gardens with a pleasant pool area. It has a small beach area with dedicated beach loungers adjacent to the main beach area. One thing to add here, as it does not appear possible to add elsewhere, is that the cost of electricity consumed during a guest stay, is payable to the cleaning staff in cash on departure, based on actual meter readings. The cost per unit is Thb8, which is the amount billed by the complex. Nothing more. The cost assuming reasonable usage is Thb300-400 per day

I am a UK national now living in Thailand with my wife, having got married at the villa. I am a retired accountant having lived and worked outside the UK since 1989 in the Maldives, Bahrain and now Thailand. Earlier in my career I spent 15 years commuting into London to work but having lived abroad for so long I'm not yet in any rush to return, and obviously owning this property makes it even harder. I purchased this villa in 2002 and have been renting it ever since.

The main attraction of the neighbourhood is obviously having an almost deserted tropical beach on the front doorstep. Also, Bang Po is in a quiet part of the island, and there is a nice mixture of local Thais and tourists in the area. There is a varied selection of good and inexpensive restaurants located within easy walking distance of the villa, including arguably the best seafood restaurant on the island. A grocery store, ATM and laundry are within a few minutes' walk. A major supermarket is a 10-minute car ride away. All the main attractions and tourist spots together with shopping, golf and entertainment etc. are only a short car journey away. You can drive right around the island in an hour, so nothing is that far. There really is something for everyone here.
