Built in a western style, with SE Asian influences, our home offers all of the creature comforts of home, with all of the ambiance of island living. Complete with western style kitchen, hot and cold running water throughout, there is nothing else like it on Koh Lipe. Enjoy your own Private Staircase to our secluded beach, where the sunsets are amazing. This is a one of a kind opportunity on Ko Lipe. That said, we ARE NOT A HOTEL! This waterfront property brings indoor/outdoor living to a new level. Open the windows and sliding glass doors and "The Windcatcher Villa" will do just that, catch the wind! After a long day of snorkeling, unwind on the patio with your favorite pour in hand and watch the beautiful boats dancing by. Whip up a feast in the western-style kitchen. We are not a hotel, so please understand that this is more like an Airbnb property. If you are looking for all of the services that a hotel provides this is not the right place for you. If you want seclusion, peace and quiet, you will love our home The primary room has a king sized bed and a beautiful en-suite bathroom. The guest rooms include 1 king and 1 queen bed and pristine, modern bathrooms. When you need additional sleeping space, the massage space in the living room fits a set of queen sheets and two floor mattresses are available. Our home comfortably sleeps six adults and two children. We can accommodate up to 8 people depending on age and size. Generally we do limit the total occupancy to not more than eight people total, including all adults and children. We are very proud of our home, and since we can not be there year-round to enjoy it, we have decided to share it with others that will appreciate it for the gem that it is. Again, If you are looking for a resort setting with lots of people, or the hustle and bustle of the walking street, this is not the place for you. If you want all of the peace and tranquility that Lipe has to offer, then this is the place for you.

Prang was born on Koh Lipe. Chip & Prang were married on the island and they have two daughters. They live mostly in the U.S. but try to come back to the island every year to visit family.

Koh Lipe is a beautiful island without all of the usual noise and congestion you find in much of Thailand these days. Even though you can walk around the entire island in less than one hour, our property is perhaps the only place where you can not see any other resort on Lipe, from any window in our home. We are only a short 10 minute walk to the walking street if you walk on Pattaya Beach, but when you are in our home it feels like you are the only people on the island. It is a truly one of a kind experience. With our remote location comes all that nature has to offer. We have a family of Monkey's that pass by almost every day on their commute. They will often stop for a while and watch you watch them. We suggest closing the doors and windows when you see them, and please do not feed them. They have never hurt anyone, but we do recommend that you do not try to engage with them. Because we are in one of the remote areas on the island we share the land with all of the creatures that have lived on Lipe for many years. These include Snakes, Rodents, Lizards, Spiders, and anything else you might find in the jungle. Although most guests never come into contact with these critters, if you are afraid of these types of encounters perhaps our home is not the right place for you.
