The house is 2 stories only and located at a hill overlooking the bay of İzmir. The ground of the house is rocky and considered one of the safe areas for earthquake. The property is only 5 minutes walk from Konak Square, Clock Tower and the historical Kemeraltı Bazaar area. From Konak Square you can reach Bus, Tram, Ferry and Metro transportation. There are buses every 5 minutes from Konak Square to our property and the busride takes only three minutes or alternatively you can walk to the property. The Dutlu Konak is a magnificent stone house built at the end of the eighteenth century, carrying the grace and the comfort of the past to present. There are comfortable apartments and rooms beautifully decorated with antique furniture. We are delighted that the Varyant Konaklari project has saved this stone mansion from being destroyed. Our guests who stay here can eat their meals in our garden hosting a mulberry tree in the middle and which is surrounded by high stone walls. You can organize dinner accompanied by the famous sunsets of İzmir in our sea view terrace where you can have 20 guests. ATTENTION! We created a beautiful atmosphere in the terrace of our other mansion called Büyük Konak (The Great Mansion) that's two streets above, in which you can enjoy our breakfast service from 8.00 am to 10.30. You can also enjoy our cocktail bar which will be available for you guests and our public customers until 11.00 pm. You need to make a reservation to enter the bar. The morning coffee to start the day and a glass of wine to finish the day facing one of the most mesmerizing sunset views, the terrace alone could be the best experience you might have here in İzmir. • The cocktail bar strictly prohibits entry to individuals under the age of 18.

According to the legend, Alexander the Great came to Izmir. He went hunting to our neighborhood which at the time was covered by dense forests. He fell asleep when he was having rest under a tree. Nemesis, the Goddess, in his dream wants Alexander the Great to set up the new Smyrna in our neighborhood. Alexander tells the dream to a soothsayer and asks his opinion. The soothsayer interprets the dream in a single sentence: The people who will settle in the skirts of Pagos hill will be four times happier than before. On top of that, Alexander the Great founded the new Izmir in the skirts of Pagos hill, which is actually is our neighborhood today. And we are so happy to live here!
