Right in the middle of this open-air museum, yet with a tranquil setting, the cosy Hotel Uyan has been restored to its former splendour. The most famous attractions in Istanbul, including Ayasofya (St. Sophia), the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace, are a couple of minutes’ walk from the hotel.
