Property info

Traum House is an oasis nestled in sleepy St. Augustine, the perfect respite for any traveler or family. Our main house is made up of four (4) rooms all of different sizes and amenities, a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, a wooden floor living room ideal for reading from the many genres and authors of the extensive library or even learning about the Indian Artefacts. There are also nine (9) self-contained studio cottages, each with its own private kitchen and bathroom. Guests can also enjoy the open-air swimming pool perfect for refreshing the mind and body, a gazebo to relax whilst listening to the serene nature of the birds chirping or even relaxing in the porch on the hammocks enjoying the cool Caribbean breeze.

Neighborhood info

St. Augustine is the ideal neighbourhood. Although quiet, any and every thing one may need is readily available and easily accessible. The airport (Piarco) is located just 9.2 km away and the University of the West Indies 1.1 km away. In the mood to cook Massy Stores is just 0.5 km away or purchase fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables from Tunuapuna market (1 km away) or if dining out is more your style - Curepe is a hotspot for a plethora of food choices including KFC, Papa John's and Burger King as well as a number of other restaurants serving local Trini food, barbeque, Chinese and Italian. If you would like to shop till you drop or perhaps catch a movie, Trincity Mall is 6 km away or perhaps enjoy the shops at Grand Bazaar only 3.5 km away. If you would like to experience the hustle and bustle of a city, our lively capital - Port of Spain is 12 km away. Visit Port of Spain to enjoy the many clubs and restaurants on Arapita Avenue, shop at the Falls at West Mall or go and enjoy a mind blowing experience at the Digicel IMAX theatre. If soaking in nature is more your speed, visit our Caroni Bird Sanctuary (5.7 km) to view some of the wonderful flora and fauna that our beautiful island has to offer. For something a little closer go for a walk at Mount St. Benedict which boasts not only a historic Church but spectacular views of central Trinidad. In case of any emergencies Mount Hope a public hospital is located 2.3 km away and St. Augustine Private Hospital is only 0.9 km away.
