Kamenets-Podilskyi is one of the oldest cities in Ukraine, the historical center of Podolia. Throughout its long history, it has always served as a apple of discord between the ancient and proto-Slavic worlds, between the West and the East, Christianity and Islam, between different worldviews and cultures.
