Welcome to Plastic Bottles House. Please NOTE: Plastic Bottles House is a HOMESTAY not a regular Hotel or a mere Guest House. We operate differently. At PBH you are a community member not just a guest. We normally live as a community at our home. Therefore, you will never be restricted to just a bed and food. Sometimes we have communal meals where we come together and share as one family. We also have different games Monopoly, Ludo, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, cards, checkers, juggling and others for our leisure as a community, We do our own cooking (But you can order for your food in case you need to). A kitchen is available mainly for long staying guests to use to cook their desired delicacies. Only that we normally contribute three dollars each day for the kitchen use mainly to cater for our Gas and Power since those two items are expensive in Uganda. Sometimes, we have community gatherings in the evening around fire and dance to music a bit around camp fire. We are near the shores, so be ready to move out and enjoy the sun raising and setting in the evening. Just know that we only focus on you being happy and comfortable. I organise tours to see animals in Uganda only for our guests at affordable budgets.. I organise community birding tours at Sixty five dollars per person. I organise One Day trips to Mabamba Swamp, Source of River Nile and Ssezibwa Falls, Mabira and Mpanga forest hiking. Etc The birds you are likely to see are, Pied kingfisher, woodland kingFisher, red chested sunbird, red Cheeked cordon bleu, blue breasted cordon bleu, white throated bee eater, African pied hornbill, little Egret, brown sun bird, red bullied fire finch, black and white Manikins, black headed weaver , African pied wagtail, mouse birds, pied crows, Hadada Ibis, Red headed love birds,black headed Gonoleks, many more.... Plastic Bottles house is located only 13km from Entebbe International Airport therefore, never be afraid of missing your flight. We are only 19km from Mabamba Shoebill swamp the best place for bird watchers among other birds to see a rare bird called SHOEBILL which is only in 8 countries in the entire world, come and witness its special features that no bird exhibit. We organise the cheapest tour to the site and this money includes Entrance fees, Boat drive to the swamp and a guide. We are 8km from Entebbe Zoo, the only zoo in Uganda. If you need to do shopping, Victoria Mall is just 7.3km from our place and near it you can decide to visit Entebbe Botanical Gardens and see the beauty of our Nature. Butterfly lovers, can easily make a tour to Mpanga Forest which is only 20km from our premises. Equator... it is a one hour ride to UGANDA EQUATOR located on Masaka Road. Come and see the magic that mother nature exhibit at the equator. Reptiles lovers, you will be able to visit Uganda Reptiles Village where a community takes care of certain reptiles like varieties of snakes, Crocs, lizards, geckos among others.
