Sweet Dory hosted us with care and was friendly. The house is well kept. They do not serve breakfast, which for the price is reasonable. This helps the rest of Potter with business. Everyone is town knows Dory.

We were not expecting breakfast. Maybe I had misread the description on booking.com. However, there was homemade banana bread and a variety of hot beverage fixings out for us. The decor was charming with some very fun details. Our hostess was...

It was awesome to be able to stay in a place that was unique and charming while still being affordable. I doubt there are many places to stay in that town so it's really great the owners don't jack the prices up so people have somewhere to sleep.

** bookingdotcom has me listed in the wrong category. This is NOT a bed and breakfast our town does have a quaint little restaurant, called the Potter Sundry that serves a great breakfast for a reasonable price. Sorry for the misunderstanding, that may have caused. - NEWLY REMODELED September 2022 A home with a history built in 1912 Back in the day originally operated as a boarding house for the crewmen working on the train. You can hear the whistle blow in the distance. Its time for a revival! Home has a peaceful ambience that is both warm and inviting. Well kept, clean home that has lots of charm and character! The purple room has a full size bed, clothing rack (stored under bed) and dressers for storage. Adjoining is the table with coffee, dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom. You enjoy the spacious main level. You have private access to all areas as seen in pics. Unless other room is rented. *Bathroom is shared I have my own separate entrance in and out of the home to assure your privacy. I have my own bedroom, bathroom. Home was designed as a boarding house and has a great layout to separate the host from guests. I am here if you need me. Stay out of your way when not needed.
My favorite activities are gardening, cooking, sewing, decoupage, arts and crafts. My friends say, "I’m old fashioned." I believe we all should surround ourselves with good people. I have Stayed at many historical inns. I always wanted one. Live here because, I like quiet small towns and old homes character, charm and history

OPEN Mon - Thurs 7am - 4pm Sunday 9am - 5pm Perhaps, enjoy a walk to the reading garden, great quiet place to read a book. Or a stroll to one of our lush green parks for a picnic.
