This architectural marvel, sits on the banks of the East Branch of the Delaware River. Relax on the front deck and watch the river flow by.Bald eagles soaring above. This the place to get away from the hustle and bustle! A large open plan ground floor incorporates a spacious living room with a massive stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings, dotted with skylights and comfortable sofas to sink into. Also a dining room for your feasts. The kitchen is spacious with everything you would want for that gourmet meal to baking. There’s also a guest toilet downstairs. Upstairs are two comfortable large bedrooms with queen size beds. Also a separate sauna with a sleeping cove with double mattress. The large bathroom has a jacuzzi and spacious walk-in shower.
I have been a photographer for many years in New York, hence the house as a getaway. Built by us. I’m married and currently living in Cape Town.
This is Catskills country. Beautiful scenery and the best fly fishing in the North East. Our property is bordered by the beautiful Tommanex State Park. One thousand acres of wilderness ensures stunning walks and great fishing grounds! There’s a country store 2.5 miles up the road, and Hancock 12 miles further for the bigger shopping and liquor. The house is at the end of a dead end by a closed historical metal bridge. So…nice and quiet!
