This Aframe was built by my father in 1962 while he helped rebuild the MassaSchussers ski club. My parents wanted a place we could use year round to enjoy the beautiful outside, which we did ,every weekend up from Mass. Its a simple design, one bathroom, small master bedroom, kitchen, living room w wood stove, upstairs is all open, 2 beds on each side. This is a cabin, no closets , but space enough for your things. The location is near enough for short drives to town, beaches, rivers and of course mountians, but on a street that is off the beaten path and quiet.
I was a lucky kid that enjoyed this place immensely all seasons growing up. I live and work in Mass.
The Aframe was the first of three vacation homes on the street. That was 60 years ago. Today, it’s a quiet residential area. The street is wide enough for walking and biking with a glorious view of the Moat Mountain Range. There are trails leading right to it .
