We offer the BEST of both worlds by being located walking distance to the secluded Trout Lake where you’ll have access to a remote lake known for its high volume of lake and rainbow trout. Trout Lake is about 254 acres in size, max depth of 75 feet, shore length of about 3.7 miles and a 50-horsepower motor limit on this lake. Trout Lake is less than a .25 mile down a Private drive from our home. We have a small sandy beach area (deeded lake rights) and firepit along with a shallow entrance to Trout lake access for swimming, kayaking, fishing, floating, etc. We have a convenient, private parking lot directly next to our beach if you rather drive back and forth. Our home is two floors with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and about 1,525 square feet of living space. It is perfect for one or two families and sleeps 8-10 comfortably in beds (6 adults max) Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. Amazing Acorn is fully equipped, and cabinets are completely stocked so you can just pack your bags and visit. We have a large Smart TV in the family room, super reliable Wi-Fi powered by 200M High Speed Internet, home phone and cable TV services all protected by an automatic 22kw Generac generator. We provide sheets, blankets, bath towels, new bar of DOVE soap in each shower, washer, dryer, laundry detergent, Weber 4-burner gas grill on our paver patio, cooking basics, toiletries, chopped firewood, traditional coffee maker and Keurig, extra Air Mattress, dish and hand soap. We have games and sport equipment such as “Kan Jam”, Corn hole, bocce ball, volleyball, small kids slide in the bunk bedroom, wiffleball, paddleball, badminton, two kayaks with paddles (10 & 12 ft.), tubes, etc.

Amazing Acorn provides the best of both worlds. A short walk will provide you with a private entrance to Trout Lake, a serene environment for water activities and relaxation. A short scenic drive will bring you to Lake George or to Lake George Village, where you can enjoy restaurants, shops, and a cozy town feeling! There is the Lake George trolley and a few bus stops in Lake George about 10-15 minutes drive from the house. We recommend having a car, which you can park freely at the house.
