Come visit our Historical home, located in the mansion district of Wilmington. We are directly across the Kenan and Wise homes, which house the Chancellor of UNC-Wilmington and the alumni . We are but a two block walk to the National cemetery and a short walk to historic downtown and museums. Angie's is a Georgian revival home that is filled with beautiful antiques and reproductions. Chris and Angie Tsingelis, proprietors, with greet you with Southern Hospitality and Angie, a Wilmington native, will entertain you with many great stories on the history an people of Wilmington area. Enjoy a deliciously cooked breakfast, made by Angie. Breakfast is included in your stay.

Property info

The 1917 Bluethenthal Mansion is a Georgian Revival home on the National Register of Historic Places. Blocks from downtown Wilmington and a few short miles from area beaches, come realx and unwind in the city that is the home of the NC Azalea Fesitival, Antique shopping, Museums, and so much more. Enjoy the NC Fort Fisher aquarium, or a ferry ride across the river to Southport. Several TV series such as Matlock, Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill were filmed in our area as well as Iron Man 3. Screen Gems studio offers tours of it's facilities.

We are centrally located blocks from the heart of downtown Wilmington. The airport is approx. a five minute drive and the Screen Gems studio which has daily tours is close by. You are minutes away from area beaches. Spend the day walking the historic setting of the Wilmington community which offers shopping, dining, historic sites a or time on the beach, visiting the Fort Fisher Aquarium or taking the Ferry to the Southport community and its unique shopping and dining by the water.
