Hello, I’m Shawn, a proud Army veteran with 20 years of service. During my military career, I had the privilege of serving in various roles, including Airborne Infantry, Special Forces, and UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter pilot. My service took me to the front lines in Afghanistan on multiple tours, Kosovo, Indonesia, Tunisia, Italy, Germany, Hungry, Paraguay, Columbia and Hawaii. Now, I find joy in hobbies such as home improvement, woodworking, art, and photography. The photos displayed around the home are some of my own creations, and I am delighted to share this part of my passion with you during your stay.

Quiet Treelined established neighborhood in Schertz, Texas. Neighbors are friendly and welcoming and commonly can be seen walking dogs and getting exercise around the neighborhood. Just outside the neighborhood, and within walking distance (.2 miles), is a small shopping center with Starbucks and “3 Pho Bowl 9” a Vietnamese-style place to eat named after the common name for the street FM 3009 that locals call “three double O nine”. Just next to that on the corner is a chicken place called “Slim Chickens.” Just 1.1 miles south on FM 3009 there are more food options to include, El Charro Mexican, subway, dominoes, Super Donut, and my favorite Thai Chef! If you’re hungry for sushi Thai Chef is your place.
