Close to Lake Everest in Wilmington, which has a beach, boat rentals, kayaking, picnic area, playground, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, paddle boarding, ice skating, and so much more! Lake Placid is a charming, all-season resort town with a Main Street, unique, locally-owned shops, loads of dining options, sporting and cultural events, a movie theatre, mini-golf, and a waterfront park where live music is featured weekly during summer.
