Nice space. We were able to cook and have family dinners every night. Very peaceful neighborhood yet still close to town! Host was very communicative and friendly. Even mailed us back an item we left behind! We would stay here again!

Located on Salmon Creek, Bear Bottoms has everything for a peaceful getaway. This unique home sleeps 13 people in 5 beds upstairs and 2 beds downstairs. A pack and play crib/ changing station is also available. Enjoy a walk-in shower or jetted tub with a forest view. The kitchen is equipped to prepare meals with access to an outdoor grill. Dine inside or outside as you enjoy the view of the creek and mountains. Create s’more memories at the fire pit. The main house is 1 of 2 units on the property (the other is a mother-in-law apt that sleeps 4 also available for rent). You will have access to the top, middle, & bottom floor of the main house. Top floor: After going upstairs, this floor opens into a large bedroom with 2 queen beds and 1 full + twin bunk bed. This room has a desk, armoire, chest of drawers, two chairs, and nightstands. This bedroom is connected to the master bathroom which has a shower and jetted tub. The other bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, chest of drawers, nightstand, and is attached to the master bathroom. Middle floor: This floor has the living area with a TV, two sofas, one loveseat, an accessory chair, side table, and coffee table. The dining area has a large table, and the kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and accessory appliances to help cook most meals. There is a large deck outside of the dining area with 2 tables to enjoy the view. Outside of the half bathroom, there is an office area with games. The entrance to the house is on this floor. Bottom floor: After going down the stairs, there is a hallway connecting a bathroom (shower/tub combo), storage room (locked), two bedrooms, and laundry room. One bedroom has a queen bed, chest of drawers, nightstand, and closet. The other bedroom has a queen, chest of drawers, two chairs, and closet. Hi! I’m Erin! I am originally from Texas. I came to Alaska with my parents in a Winnebago in 2007. Seward immediately captured my heart, and I started spending every summer here. In 2021, I realized life was too short to not live in my happy place. I cannot wait for you to see all the wonders of Seward. Please reach out to me for assistance booking your adventures (I can get you a discount on wildlife cruises)! I have many tips on what to do in the area. I live on the property in a separate space. Guests rarely see me (unless they need assistance) since I work a couple of jobs in the summer.
Bear Bottoms is located in Questa Woods, a very safe neighborhood. We are located 6 miles from the harbor and 7 miles from downtown Seward. If you are outside or have windows in the house open, you may hear occasional road noise.
