Voted #1 in lodging for Inyo County, Our hotel is located in Bishop, California. The natural flowing Bishop Creek runs through our beautifully manicured and landscaped grounds. Wayfinder Bishop offers guests a choice of either a balcony or patio guestroom with views of Bishop Creek or guestrooms with views of the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. We have a 24-hour front desk, laundry facilities available on-site and a complimentary full breakfast buffet served daily from 6am to 10am. Bishop, California is known as the small town with the BIG backyard. For those who travel to the area to enjoy some of the BEST fishing worldwide, we offer a fish cleaning area. Many adventurous travelers enjoy hiking, rock climbing, bouldering and more. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout Wayfinder Bishop. The temperature-controlled rooms feature cherry wood desks and chairs. A flat-screen TV, mini refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee-makers are standard in all guest rooms. Our hotel features a year-round outdoor hot tub and seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Bishop Eastern Sierra Regional Airport is a 5-minute drive from the hotel. A golf course at Bishop Country Club is 1 mile away and the Tri County Fairground is 5 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

Must-know information for guests at this property

Please be sure to check for current road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Pass Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year.

On the day of your departure if a late checkout has not been approved, you will be charged $ 50.00 for every hour after 11AM.

No bicycles are allowed in guest rooms. We have limited bicycle storage available, please contact hotel in advance of your arrival/booking.
