My friend Joan and I have known each other for almost 20 years. We met as we traveled in the same circles doing non-profit, all volunteer, animal rescue work in NYC. Joan's altruistic nature and downright hard work and dedication to the rescue of injured, stray, homeless, helpless and abandoned animals is in harmony with my own and she quickly and absolutely won my deep respect and friendship. We are both from New York and have each always dreamed of having a place on the beach. I am an Emergency Room Registered Nurse and work a lot. I grew up in Florida and have always loved the smell and peaceful sounds of the ocean and the ocean breezes. When Joan and I decided to go in together on a beach place, we spent a lot of time looking. We chose Myrtle Beach because of it's beauty, it's cleanliness and because it still offers all four seasons, they're just much milder compared to the harsh winters of the Northeast. We chose Drayton House because of it's Southern Style Architectural Charm. Our building is relaxed and inviting with only 8 units. It is quaint, with only two units on each floor. The building's architecture is reminiscent of the timeless style of a South Carolina Plantation Home. We hope you enjoy it!

Our condo is located in a more residential area, It's a safer and quieter neighborhood but still centrally located and very near to the Boardwalk, Barefoot Landing, Golf Courses, Restaurants, Supermarkets and Activities. We also like the fact that our beach is less crowded because the neighborhood only allows a limited amount of public parking. Our unit is a corner unit with no other building on our side. This gives our unit tons of sunlight, ocean breezes and ocean views from every single room in the condo (with exception to the 2 interiorly situated bathrooms).
