Jason and Andrea fell in love with the Mermaids and Weeki Wachee area after visiting in 2014. They purchased a waterfront vacation home "Mermaid Cove" and soon after another "Pirate's Cove" and began sharing the opportunity for others to experience the beauty, relaxation, excitement and adventure the area has to offer. Another home was added in 2020, the "Chubby Mermaid". In 2021, they purchased and began renovating a vintage waterfront motel and named it "Neptune's Grotto" with each room having a mermaid theme decor. In 2024, "Cabin by the Sea" was added in nearby Hernando Beach.
