This is a cozy, Craftsman style home that was built in 1926. The decor is simple, but comfortable and you will feel right at home. The mattresses are Casper memory foam and are very comfortable. There are blackout curtains in all the rooms except the dining room and kitchen. There is a washer and dryer in a separate laundry room inside the house. Detergent is provided. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby that are walkable.
I love Tucson and the outdoors. There are many places nearby to run, hike and cycle where you don't have to compete with traffic. The loop trail is great which is a designated, paved path that runs in and around Tucson and is located along the washes that surround the city. Great views and peaceful. There are also many dirt trails for hiking where you have amazing views amidst all the natural, desert flora. I also love the nightlife and there are many venues nearby (walkable) there is something for everyone (shopping, dining, sipping cocktails, having a latte and reading a book, etc). There's a dog park right across the street as well as bike rentals on the corner by the college.
Casa 131 is located in the historic Feldman's neighborhood and is surrounded by other historic neighborhoods (West University, Dunbar Springs, Armory Park, Presidio and Barrio Viejo). Take a stroll and take in the old, turn of the century (20th) bungalows, row houses made of mud adobe and many craftsman style homes as well as some spectacular mansions.
