Near San Francisco Bay, this historic Sausalito, California resort is located in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The resort features a full-service spa and Murray Circle Restaurant. Cavallo Point offers rooms with a flat-screen TV and an iPod docking station. Available amenities include a small fridge and a coffee maker while select rooms provide a gas fireplace. Coffee, tea, and pastries are available in the Lobby in the morning daily. Farley Bar, with live music on certain days, is available at Cavallo Point Lodge. Cooking classes are also available in the Cavallo Point Cooking School. This is a pet-friendly resort. Area activities at the Cavallo Lodge consist of hiking, tours of Fort Baker and free morning yoga classes. Local beaches and guided kayaking tours under the Golden Gate Bridge are also nearby. The Healing Arts Center & Spa at Cavallo Point features a heated outdoor meditation pool. Massage, facial and body treatments, acupuncture, herbal remedies and integrative medicine are offered. The Tea Bar offers teas, juices, and healthy soup, sandwiches and salads. The Bay Area Discovery Museum is 300 metres from the Lodge Cavallo. San Francisco city centre is 15 km from the lodge.
