Welcome to “Sunset Retreat,” a serene lakefront home on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake in Aurora, NY. This unique property includes a 1 bedroom, 1 bath main house as well as a bonus “bunkhouse” with beds and a full bath. This multifunctional home is 1 of 4 properties that make up Sunset Stays on Cayuga, a group of lakefront rentals owned by a family with a heart for hospitality. It takes approx. 15 mins to arrive at Sunset Retreat if you drive the 10mph speed limit (which we greatly encourage you to do 🙂). You are driving lakeside the entire time past beautiful home after beautiful home, so while this could seem like an extra distance or inconvenience, we choose to take it as an opportunity to slow down and “enjoy the views” that beautiful Cayuga Lake and the quiet private road have to offer.
