Cozy getaway... perfect for couples, nomad workers, families, pets, bikers, hikers... all love our cabin with natural wood walls, cathedral ceiling, full kitchen, large balcony/deck, parking for 4+ cars. Our home is visible but across the pond (750 ft away), so you have plenty of green space to enjoy. The Hop River Trail borders our 7-acres. Walk 1/2 mile to a lovely meandering waterfall or hike/ride for miles. Just 15-min drive to Manchester, Vernon, UCONN Storrs; Eastern State Univ. Only 20-min to Hartford, casinos, airports. 90-min to Boston Airport. 5-minutes to a private lake with sandy beach. The cabin does have a narrow spiral staircase that is not suitable for small pets, young children (under 5) nor infants, because you really need to hold the railing and pay attention when going up or down the stairs. There is, however, an outdoor stairway to the large deck, which has a door in to the upstairs (bedroom area). And there is a half-bath in the bedroom area, so night time bathroom breaks are not a problem.

We love to empower people to get healthy & happy via natural, God-given resources like breathing, laughter, whole foods, pure water, expressing feelings, thoughts, and words (especially Truth). I love to ski, sing, dance, listen to music, ride ocean waves, and make healthy food taste amazing. My personal motto is "what goes around comes around" aka The Golden Rule.

This is a very rural neighborhood, and it's not far from plenty of shopping, entertainment, dining and more. Route 6 is a busy road, but it's over 150 feet away. If you're a VERY light sleeper or crave complete silence, this might not work for you. On spring and summer nights you'll be lulled to sleep by an orchestra of bullfrogs in the pond. And it's just a 5-minute drive to the local lake & beach, which you can visit as our guests!
