I am the owner and innkeeper at the Champaign Garden Inn. I have worked in the hospitality industry for my whole professional life and am thrilled to be able to use that experience to make your stay with us exceptional. I was raised in Illinois, and also spent 25 years in the San Francisco bay area in California. I love opening my home to our guests, and have designed the Inn with our guests comfort in mind.

Property info

The Champaign Garden Inn seamlessly combines the elegance of the Victorian Era with all of the modern conveniences guest expect. The Inn is located in an historic area of Champaign, just a few blocks from the recently re-developed downtown. All of our rooms feature Bemco Presidential pillow top beds, Comphy brand linens and pillows, Turkish towels, spa qualtiy robes and flat screen smart TV's. We have WIFI available throughout the property and a deluxe cable package. Since the Innkeeper lives on property, we will take care of any problems or needs that arise. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, I am sure you'll love your stay with us!

Neighborhood info

We are located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Champaign. The Inn, built in 1900 was then, and still is, one of the grandest houses on the street. Just one block south of the Inn is West Side Park, a beautiful park with a fountain and playground areas. Two blocks away from the Inn is the Virginia Theater which hosts many nationally know acts throughout the year. Four blocks from the Inn you'll find the recently redeveloped downtown area. Most of the most exciting new restaurants and lounges are located there. Some of my personal favorites restaurants are Disthl, Big Grove Tavern, Radio Maria and Escobar. There are also great clubs like Cowboy Monkey, Esquire and Chester Street. Our guests love that they can walk for a bite to eat, or their evening's libations. We are also just 1.5 miles to the U of I, 1.6 miles to the University of Illinois State Farm Center, and 1.6 miles to Kranert Center for the performing arts. Close to everything, yet in a quiet residential neighborhood, our Inn is perfect whether you are traveling for business or pleasure.
