Enjoy the rustic charm of this renovated barn apartment decorated with repurposed farm and barn items. Built in the 60’s this barn was used for tobacco and hay. It was completely renovated in 2015 and now boasts a clean, comfortable, and cozy interior with the look and feel of a rustic barn. Outside, the giant oaks make a cool shady canopy where you can sit and watch the wildlife or enjoy the fire pit or waterfall feature. Quiet and private, located close to the Parkway and Little Switzerland.

We renovated the barn over a 5 year period and are thrilled to host visitors that enjoy the charm and style of a mountain farm. We are avid travelers as well as adventure motorcycle riders and also do quite a bit of fishing in the local area. Kevin is also a member of the county tourism development association.

Located 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway in the grassy Creek community of Spruce Pine, we are convenient to many attractions and activities. Within 20 minutes are Burnsville, Bakersville, Linville, and Marion. Within an hour are Asheville, Boone, Blowing Rock, Black Mountain, and Banner Elk. Our guests often visit Grandfather Mtn, Little Switzerland, Mt, Mitchell and Roan Mountain. There are many unique shops and restaurants within a few minutes drive.
