Everything was great, we stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed every minute. The owners weren't at the property to welcome us, but they provided very clear and easy to follow instructions, so check-in was a breeze.

Everything was perfect. The apartment is lovely and cozy. The bed was soft and warm and comfy. The views from the windows were amazing and the location is close to hiking and nearby towns. We would have loved to stay longer.

We have renovated a 1970's-era architect-designed ski lodge into a comfortable home with three separate living units, the Loft upstairs, the Terraces downstairs, and the Sugarhouse above the garage. The Lodge is built with 50-foot steel beams and 30 foot columns that soar across the top to provide tall ceilings and big windows and doors. We are nestled in the forest at 1100 feet altitude, on 12 acres of land, with trails for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. The ski areas of Stowe, Sugarbush, and Bolton Valley are a short drive away, as are a half-dozen craft breweries and the Long Trail. Restaurants and shops are two miles down the hill in the village of Waterbury. Guests pay us directly; Booking dot Com does not collect the deposit (due upon making the reservation) or the final payment (due two weeks before arrival). To confirm your reservation, you must call us at on the telephone, so we can arrange to collect your deposit and make sure that our place can accommodate your group. Your reservation is not confirmed until you pay the deposit.
We are retired educators who spend the winter in the mountains of Vermont, the summer at our camp on Lake Elmore, and parts of the spring and fall at our house in the south of France.
We are nestled in the forest, yet a short drive to shops, restaurants, and the worldwide headquarters of Heady Topper and Ben & Jerry's. Not to mention Sugarbush and Mt. Mansfield in Stowe and Camel's Hump.
