Welcome to the Dolly Varden Cabin at Lower Kenai Lodge! Here are the highlights of what our property has to offer: ★ Private cabin with full bathroom and kitchen. ★ Short drive to the Kenai River. ★ Shared Outdoor Amenities: Covered pavilion, picnic tables, BBQ grills, fire pits. The Dolly Varden Cabin is a compact but comfortable cabin, perfect to use as a basecamp for all your Kenai adventures. The studio has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and sleeping area. When you're ready to retire, enjoy any of the four beds (2 Twin over Full bunk beds). Lower Kenai Lodge boasts several cabins in a secluded acre, just minutes from the world-famous Kenai River. There are fire pits, BBQ grills, and a covered pavilion available for guest use. We are centrally located between Kenai and Soldotna, close to everything the Kenai Peninsula offers: sightseeing, fishing, or just enjoying the peace and quiet! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: - 5 minutes from the Kenai River. - Airports: ENA 20m, HOM 1h45m, ANC 3h10m. - We do not offer fishing tours, but we do have partnerships with local tour companies that we will send after booking. - The water is not potable at the property. Guests should pickup drinking water on their way into the cabin. - The property switches from short-term to mid-term from October to April.
