Hi there! We're native Oregonians in a family of 7 with 14 grandchildren and counting. Coming from a large family hosting is native to us and we love it! Lonny and I first built our home 20 years ago and his love for building and mine for interior design of homes has taken us to where we are now. Because we are in the business of hospitality for local and international guests, we take a lot of pride and care in what we do and hope you'll feel this love reflected at each of our properties. Pet Policy: We are glad to host your pets too (as in dogs 🐶). Anything beyond that — lizards, ferrets, emotional support peacocks — needs a little pre-approval, just so we’re all on the same page. Regardless of how well trained the pet is, we have found pets do crazy things at unfamiliar locations. I really do not want to charge for cleaning carpets or floor rugs. It’s a pain, so please READ carefully! Thank you! We ask for compliance in a few house rules: 🛋️ No pets on the furniture — no matter how much they side-eye ya. 🚪 No pets in the bedrooms. We just replaced carpets and are trying to keep things fresh and fur-free. 🛏️ Bring their own bedding if possible to prevent marking or nervous accidents. Trust us, they do happen! If you don’t have any, let me know — I’ve got extra pet blankets you can use. 🚿 No pet baths in the tub. That spa day is for humans only. 🚧 Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided or close bedroom doors to ensure compliance. 🚫 No unkenneled solo pet parties — please don’t leave your pet unattended unless properly crated. 🐶 Need pet care while you're out? We’ve got a Rover sitter on standby — just say the word. 💩 Please scoop the poop. It’s basic trail etiquette and good humaning. There is a pet fee per dog, inquire for more details.

The two bedroom apartment comes with a queen bed in the first bedroom and a full bed in the second, is so much larger than just a hotel room. The living room area has a great couch and tv for gathering for movie nights or relaxing after a day at work. The bathroom has a tub and shower combo with all your essentials. Complete with a microwave and coffee maker, this is a "Heat and Eat" apartment which also boasts a mini fridge. This unit is partial below grade, with lots of daylight windows that bring in tons of natural light. The entrance is around on the back of this home. Your private entrance comes with a keypad for your convenience and self check-in. Because noise tends to travel so well in these gorgeous homes, we've tried to soundproof as best we can. Please be aware if the upstairs unit is rented you may still hear some noise. Pet rules are listed in the 'About the host' section.

Downtown Albany is a unique and historic place. You will see many cute shops, boutiques, and antique stores. The antiquity of the historic downtown is what makes it special. Being very walkable, you are free to park your car and explore the 100's of shops, restaurants, museums, live theaters, and the historical Carousel and Museum. With the Willamette river nearby, Monteith River-park is home to summer's River Rhythm concert series.
