Ricketts Glen State Park is just 1.6 miles away, boasting scenic waterfalls, countless hiking trails and endless wildlife. Take a day trip to Knoebels Amusement Park, peruse the on-site alpaca shop, lounge in the hammock, enjoy a campfire or go swimming, kayaking, fishing or boating at Lake Jean.

We truly enjoy welcoming guest into our beautiful woods and want to share the rest and tranquility that can be achieved only in nature. You are welcome to just relax and enjoy the beauty of the area, shop in our little boutique or just sit and enjoy a campfire. Our cottage is a comfortable space bosting 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dinette, full washer and dryer, comfortable living room and a great private deck as well as a inviting campfire area with a relaxing hammock. All for you to enjoy and wash away the craziness of life. All nestled on 34 acres. There is so much to do while you are here - Start with an energizing trip up the waterfalls. Be sure to take snacks and water and make sure you have proper footwear to make this trip memorable. If you don't want to do the Falls Trail there are numerous other trails in the park to explore (park maps are available in the cottage). You can enjoy a hot summer day at Lake Jean beach, go kayaking, canoeing, boating or fishing (available to rent at the park). The town of Benton is home to unique shops to peruse on an afternoon. A great day trip is spending the day at Knoebels amusement park (approx. 45 minutes away) perfect for a day of fun. You can visit Eagles Mere and peruse the shops on your way to Worlds End State Park. We have plenty of places to eat here as well. Enjoy your dinner at the Ricketts Glen Hotel, or The Copper Penny in Jamison City. The Town of Benton also has a couple of fantastic places to eat. Just keep in mind that places close early here so be sure you get there early. Most restaurants stop serving about 8 pm. Your cottage is also equipped with a full kitchen and a gas barbeque grill if you decide to enjoy your meals at home.
