I'm what you would call an "Accidental Host". My skills as a professional photographer lead me to meeting with a gentleman who was looking to sell some property here in the desert. I'm tech savvy as well and next thing you know I'm managing his properties for him here in the desert and in Europe. Word of mouth spread and now two years later, I have a portfolio of vacation rentals here in 29 Palms. I've been a resident here in the desert for 30 years and counting. Joshua Tree National Park is my photography muse. I love sharing my passion for this arid landscape with visitors from all over the world. The Flying Point Homestead is located in a rural area of the desert overlooking Joshua Tree National Park, the 29 Palms Marine Base and the City of 29 Palms. Our neighborhood feels secluded since most homes are located on 5 acres and many parcels have no homes on them, just open desert. While relaxing outdoors, you'll likely see desert iguanas, jack rabbits, road runners and other wildlife that inhabit the desert. In town there is a unique collection of local restaurants, bars and boutique shops to explore.
