The neighborhood From the house, it is a short walk to Bluff Trail and biking paths, leading to the marine preserve, beaches, swimming pools, and tennis courts. Stock up in Gualala, just 10 minutes south, where you'll find grocery stores, restaurants, a hardware store, and gas. Bodega Bay is a beautiful drive for fresh seafood. Getting around Plan for a 2.5-hour drive from San Francisco (Highway 101 to Highway 1). If flying, Santa Rosa's Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) is the closest option at about 90 minutes east. You'll want a car here -- the winding coastal roads are half the adventure.
