Goldilocks was originally the ski cabin of the principal designer at the interior design firm where I was then employed. We had great fun decorating the cabin on buying trips to New York, and the Paris Flea Market, and at our favorite Vermont antique stores. The draperies were all custom designed for the space, and the rugs were all hand loomed at the Weaving Room on Nantucket Island. Jill had so many great memories staying at Goldilocks, that when her employer decided to sell the property, Jill at the chance to purchase the cabin and make it her own.

Jill Evarts is an interior designer who realized she could use her particular talents to create the unique type of vacation rental that she herself is always seeking. In this commoditized world of professionally managed properties it has become difficult to find the personalized and the refreshing in a vacation rental. Goldilocks Cabin is the antidote to this predictability. Jill is married to a tug boat captain, and they live on Nantucket island with their cat and three chickens.

Goldilocks is in Stowe Hollow, just a mile from town, minutes to hiking or cross country skiing, and 8 miles to Mt. Mansfield. The cabin is on 4 wooded acres, but not secluded, we are in nice neighborhood of widely spaced homes.
