My wife and I finally fulfilled our dream of owning a condo in Gulf Shores. We stumbled upon Grand Beach Resort Condominiums which is a 5 Story complex with about 72 Units mainly 1 BRs and a few 1 BR with a Loft Bedroom. The first unit we bought was Penthouse 1 which is 1 of 4 units on the fifth floor. The view from this unit is unbelievable as the Gulf State Park Beach is right across the road so you can see down the dune area and beach for about a mile to the east. We like this unit so much we quickly bought another unit (313) on the third floor which is a 1BR unit. We love going and staying in either one and hopefully you will enjoy them as well.
My wife loves the beach and I love to golf so Gulf Shores was the perfect place for us to buy our condos. If you are interested in playing golf let me know and I can give you some recommendations on the many nice courses we have in the are.
Our property is located to the far east of Gulf Shores and really juts out into the Gulf State Park as it borders us on 3 sides. The Gulf State Park has an awesome beach but there is no public parking available so it is not very crowded most of the time. The Fishing Pier is a short walk down the beach and there are miles of walking and biking trails in the park that are very accessible from our property. The heart of Gulf Shores is only about a mile walk to the west with many restaurants and markets along that walk.
