Kelli is a lifelong Alaskan, who enjoys the outdoors and all of the adventurous activities that Juneau has to offer. She is an avid downhill skier, likes to hike, trail run, and participate in water sports. I hope you like this accessory apartment that was built in the early 90s for my great grandmother, Vivetta, when she moved in with my Grandma, who had lived in the house for over 10 years. It has a private exterior entrance, porch, and parking spot, but you can also access the main house through an interior door. Both exterior and interior entry doors feature deadbolt and knob locks. I hope you enjoy the community environment in the house. You are welcome anytime, and everyone is very nice.

This is the only house in the neighborhood facing the main street. It makes it pretty private, in that you can't see any neighbors, and the bus stop is almost at the end of the driveway. That said, the street noise is apparent, and could be a problem for those who need quiet. The neighborhood in the backyard is nice and quiet. Great Mendenhall Valley Location – It's steps from the city bus stop and two miles from the famous Mendenhall Glacier which you can get to by car, or walking on a paved bike path or gravel trail. You can take the bus for one mile and walk the second mile. This is not a downtown Juneau property. Downtown Juneau is substantially more expensive than the Mendenhall Valley, so this location for the price should not be compared to that of downtown. If you want to be downtown, and don't want to take a 45 minute bus ride to go 16 miles, then this space is not for you.
