We are a romantic, Eastlake style Queen Anne Victorian inn, offering luxurious accommodations and first class service. Built in 1880 as the retirement home of David Greenway, who established the Green Lake area as one of Wisconsin's most popular resort destinations. The Greenway House revives the historic beauty and majesty of a bygone era, while, at the same time, providing all the modern amenities for our guests' comfort and convenience.
Paul and Candace are experienced Innkeepers, dedicated to providing superior guest service. Our combined, lengthy career histories, Candace in the Hospitality/Hotel Management field, and Paul as owner/operator of a successful contracting business, give us the ability to take care of our guests, as well as the beautiful property. We are self-proclaimed "Foodies", and accomplished in our culinary skills. We very much enjoy the outdoors and love to travel and explore new places.
Green lake is a very popular resort destination all year long. The pristine lake offers fabulous fishing, boating and swimming, along with beautiful hiking areas in the summer months, and an array of winter sports, including ice fishing in the winter time. The area is rich in history and culture, and also boasts many dining options, from casual to fine, along with nearby wineries. Truly a destination with everything to please everybody.
