Hatcher Pass Cabins offers convenience and wilderness on your front steps. We are close enough to Anchorage to easily escape the city and we sit right at the entrance of the iconic Hatcher Pass for endless adventure and wilderness. Enjoy either the Sourdough Cabins or the larger Grande Cabins. The Sourdough Cabins are full scribed studio log cabins that sleep 2 guests with a bathroom and kitchenette, while the Grande Cabins offer two bedrooms, one bathroom, full kitchen and sleep up to 6 guests. We are nestled at the base of beautiful Hatcher Pass, Alaska and home to a variety of outdoor activities in any season - only 50 miles north of Anchorage, 8 miles from Palmer, and 11 miles from Wasilla. Relax in the comfort and beauty that is yours at Hatcher Pass Cabins. Ask your host for advice on what to do and see.

Neighborhood info

Hatcher Pass is one of South-central Alaska's most popular playgrounds and largely a locals secret. With XC skiing, backcountry skiing, resort skiing at Skeetawk, and snow machining in the winter to hiking, backpacking, sightseeing, berry picking, mountain biking and scenic drives in the summer. Hatcher Pass has it all without all the hustle and bustle of some of the other parts of Alaska! The entrance to Hatcher Pass is under a mile from our cabins and Palmer is just 10 minutes down the hill. Palmer is a quaint mountain town with a walkable downtown, good coffee, good beer and always offers local markets.
