We just really enjoyed sleeping in a teepee. It was a fun experience for my sons and I. Having the ability to enjoy a small fire inside was the icing on the cake. The facility and grounds were clean. The owners were very nice and helpful. Overall...

Loved the Tipi’s. The weather was HOT though so it was a challenge to cool off, but that is how nature works with no AC. We booked in March so had no idea of weather and given the complete fire ban we couldn’t even make a cup of tea. Hopefully...

The owner Corey was very helpful! She met us at the sight and told us all about the property, gave us our pick of teepees and tips on good places to eat in Chiloquin. She gave us her phone number, and we called her when we were looking for a gas...

the place was nice , but Iwe could use the toilet, it was disgusting. It seems that the septic tank was not empty for days or weeks.

Kori and her daughter Heather, own and run the ranch and tipi village. Kori is an oil & watercolor painter & potter. Heather is a fiber artist (weaving, beadwork and Hat maker) . Both have sold and displayed work on the National and International level. We are American Indian as well. It is our desire to allow people to see and experience what we get to see on a daily basis. We love the stress free beauty and allow others to hike our many trails on our ranch. When you come into our ranch driveway, come on up to our office (a little grey building with a red roof.) Check in at our office and we will show you where your tipi is (A map/note will be on the bulletin board at the office with your name on it. Please read directions and notes ). Our office is open during the day, but we don't stay glued to it. We may be busy in our artists studios- the number is on the door- call us and one of us will show up to help you. If you arrive outside of our office hours, please contact us ahead of time so we can make other arrangements for you. Please respect our privacy, our horses and dogs are our private property and we ask you to not bother them. (Our horses are old- one being 38 years old...YES, 38! and you will need an appointment of visit them. NO FEEDING THE HORSES OR DOGS.) Our horses and dogs are ALL rescue babies, and have special diets and needs, and their digestive systems are very delicate.) We live by a "Lets be respectful of all souls" motto, and appreciate if you carry that with you as you are on our land. NO FIREARMS allowed, and NO fireworks. Our place is dry right now, and we are being careful to NOT have a fire again here.

Property info

Heartline Ranch is a 250 acre ranch, where we have a campgrounds with genuine Native American tipis, with an ability to allow you to camp as Native Americans have lived in our past traditional way. We are just down from Crater Lake. There is great natural beauty here. Ours is a primitive campgrounds, but we have an on-demand hot shower (propane) ,and porta potties, and a wash station. Each tipi is equipped with 4 memory foam mattresses ( one is a Queen size in each tipi), 4 sleeping bags and 4 pillows. On the outside of each tipi is a picnic table, a parking area and a small firepit area (NOTE: NO OUTSIDE BURNING THIS YEAR) We are on Crater Lake Highway that also leads to Crater Lake, so there are some traffic sounds, but you won't find a prettier place to experience staying in a real tipi. There are 6 tipis total, with good distancing between each one. You have lots of privacy and great hiking trails, among all kinds of birds. Come unstress in natural beauty, and sleep under the clear starry skies which you can see through the top of your tipi, and experience this unique and beautiful place, as our Native ancestors lived. Each tipi only has room for the 4 mattresses. If you a child (small person) there is a queen sized mattress in each tipi, and 1 extra sleeping bag can be provided. A side note: our campground was struck by a Forest Fire- the 242 fire- in 2020. Much new growth is back, and many of the trees have been able to survive. Also a happy note: the birds and small animals have all returned. There is great hiking, and we are still clearing our trails from the fire, but as you will see, much has survived. The trails we had for our horse rides have grown over, as we don't use them for horse rides anymore, but you are still welcome to hike up there. Your tipis and hiking are all on private property...right next to the Winema National Forest, and also has our private area for our home. Please respect our privacy.

Neighborhood info

We are beside the Winema National Forest, and across from Pelican Butte Mountains, and Agency Lake bird sanctuary. So much amazing scenic beauty and lots of wildlife!! Down the road, 4 miles, is the little town of Chiloquin, and we are 26 miles south of Crater Lake National Park. Also down the road is the Klamoya Indian Casino. We live in a quiet, beautiful area with all the sounds and sites of the beautiful Northwest as seen in all the Pacific North west literature. The is a casino (Klamoya) down the road 6 miles, where you can get gas and meals 24 hrs a day. For a little town, we have some GREAT restaurants. This is a rural area, so most places are closed after 8, except the Klamoya Casino which is 24/7.
