Company info

We love life and we love meeting new people, (friends.) We have experience as Landlords, and house flippers; this project was a massive undertaking and it challenged us immensely. Joan is a great cook and she is perfecting some great recipes such as: Oatmeal Bake (loaded with berries and fruit.); Plum muffins; blueberry muffins; peach or nectarine muffins; and her complimentary chocolate chip cookies couldn't be much better.

Property info

We updated and renovated an 1860 home to modern conveniences and standards while trying to maintain the original features where we could. There is a main house with 4-rooms available to rent. The room in this house can be individual rooms or combined into 2-bedroom units. We also have two additional separate units out back. Both of these units can sleep up to 4 people. We have a gas firepit out back; some of the units have fireplaces too; we have a hot tub available for all guests.

Neighborhood info

Hickory is a small town loaded with great, friendly people. There are a few rustic wedding venues within 5-miles including Shady Elms Farm; Bramblewood; Whispering Dreams at Star Lake; Bella Vista; Red Fox Winery; and Bella Sera in Canonsburg is 12 miles away. Star Lake Pavilion is a 20-minute drive and so is the Pittsburgh International Airport. We are only 30 minutes to Pittsburgh.
