Nags Head, NC is one of the most iconic towns on the Outer Banks, blending natural beauty, rich history, and laid-back beach town charm. Located on a barrier island along the coast of North Carolina, Nags Head boasts miles of sandy beaches, towering sand dunes, and a mix of historic beach cottages and modern vacation homes. At the heart of Nags Head lies Jockey’s Ridge State Park, home to the tallest natural sand dunes on the East Coast.
