Little Ridge Ranch is located on a beautiful quiet road lined with majestic Oak trees. It is a serene and picturesque retreat nestled amidst rolling hills, tranquil countryside, and nearby natural springs. We offer a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, providing an idyllic getaway for nature lovers and those looking for a quiet escape. We have 2 homes (some call them luxury cabins) on opposite sides of our 10 acre property. The East House and West House. Both homes have kitchens with all wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops and a washer/dryer. The roof and air conditioning system were recently replaced. The dining tables seat 8 and the living rooms have a large screen TV with Sling TV and any streaming services you want to use. The huge screened porchs have large dining tables with chairs and large ceiling or wall fans to keep everyone cool while enjoying the view. Children and adults will enjoy the donkeys, sheep and chickens on our property as well as the cattle and goats of our neighbors. Both houses have access to the entire property including the firepit for stargazing on a starlite night and the pool with composite deck with chairs which is great for cooling off on a hot afternoon or enjoying a cocktail at the end of the day.
We are Patty and Dennis. We purchased Little Ridge Ranch in January of 2019, totally renovated the entire property, and hosted our first guest in August of that year. We live in Ocala and we are happy to share any information about the local area, attractions, restaurants, etc. with our guests. We are accessible by phone or text anytime. We really enjoy hosting, proud to be Premier Partners with VRBO and also Superhosts and we have had hundreds of happy guests since 2019.
We are located in Marion County Farmland Preservation Area and what is known as the Horse Capital of the World! We love our location, close to Gainesville and the University of Florida, close to Ocala, HITS and the new World Equestrian Center. Devil's Den and Blue Grotto Prehistoric Springs famous for their SCUBA and snorkeling. If you prefer to remain above the surface, Rainbow Springs tubing and kayaking is close by as well. The Nature Coast State Trail is a wonderful area for hiking, bicycling and horseback trails. If antiques are your thing Dixie's Antiques is a great place to visit.
