Hi, we're Suzanne & Andy - best friends, parents, and small business owners with a deep appreciation for historic small towns and the role they play in defining a sense of place. That's why we put down roots in downtown West Dundee, opening Emmett's Brewing Co. and building Sightwell, a boutique hospitality company focused on the thoughtful restoration of historic properties. We own and manage a small portfolio of distinctive lodging experiences in the downtown district - each one designed to reflect the character of its building and neighborhood. We live just a few blocks away and are always reachable by text or phone if you need anything. When we're not running our businesses, you'll find us working on our historic home, traveling, and enjoying great food, drink, and good company. We believe great travel doesn't require a big city - just the right place.

Kildahl House is a thoughtfully restored historic farmhouse set on a hill overlooking downtown West Dundee, offering four private one-bedroom suites just steps from restaurants, shops, and the Fox River. Each suite is fully self-contained with a king bed, full kitchen with modern appliances, a spacious bathroom with elevated finishes, and a comfortable living area. Soft tones, natural light, and simple farmhouse details create a space that feels warm and easy to settle into. Guests also enjoy a wraparound porch with porch swing and backyard seating area. Suites 1 and 2 are on the first floor; Suites 3 and 4 are on the second floor. Free parking is available across the street in municipal lots, with additional parking in front of the home from April through October.
