“Mike was so welcoming. Pumpkin bread, yogurt and coffee for breakfast. Room was delightful. We were given ear plugs for the train noise...ha! Didn't need them. Lovely to walk around and go sit by the river.”

Built in 1875 to house Farmers and Merchants Bank. Our three guest rooms on the second floor were law offices. Renovation of the second floor was done by River City Restoration of Hannibal, contractors for the renovation of Lincoln's Home in Springfield, IL. We live on the first floor which was the actual bank. Mark Twain's last visit to Hannibal was in 1903. He entertained the locals from our front steps.

We have been in Hannibal since 1988. Both of us have been career hospitality professionals. We retired from the restaurant business in 2013, and devote our time to our B & B.

At the corner of Main and Center we are in the heart of Hannibal's Historic District. Twain sights, riverfront, Main Street shopping, restaurants, and night life are all just a few steps away. Plenty of free parking available with no time limit. Most guests never move their car from check-in to departure.
