I was a CPA for 27 years and I retired to become a full-time airbnb host in 2017. Since then, Onyx Properties has grown from 2 vacation rentals to 27 separate rentable units. In 2022, my son James became the Manager. of the co. I am a very detailed person, as accountants usually are, which has helped me as a host. I believe that attention to detail can be the difference between an ok stay and a great stay! So please come and stay with us. : )

Property info

We pay up to one hundred dollars per month for electricity. Guests pay any amount over one hundred dollars. Once we receive the electricity bill for the dates of the guest's stay, we will charge the guest for any excess usage. Attractively decorated apartments in a small gated complex less than 1 mile from Downtown Visalia, the Convention Center, Kaweah Delta Hospital District, close to Rawhide Stadium. Grocery store, convenience store walking distance. Fast wifi: 10 upload, 400 download Mbps. The rate for these apartments is discounted due to the long term stay requirement- a minimum of 30 days.

Neighborhood info

The great thing about the location is that it is a few blocks from the Medical Center, the Convention Center, and downtown Visalia which is where all of the nice shops, restaurants, and bars are located. Rawhide Stadium is 3 blocks away. You will also have quick, easy access to the freeway. This is an older urban area with small, older homes and some apartment complexes. The man selling elote might come down the street ringing his bell, and sometimes people play their music outside. There are also beautifully-restored historic homes in the neighborhood. You will be 45 minutes from the National and State Sequoia Parks, and 1.5 hours from the beautiful Central CA Coast and the Paso Robles wine region!
