We live in upstate NY and enjoy all of its surroundings. We own and operate The Mill Pond Inn and Tavern in Jefferson NY.

Property info

The historic Mill Pond Inn was built in 1879 by the Mann Brothers, who ran a grain and sawmill. When David and Joan purchased the property in 2017, it had been abandoned for twenty-two years, but retained many of its original details. Today, the house features five rooms with private baths, a relaxing front porch, and a large back deck with stunning views of the mill pond. An event space for parties of up to 100+. On-Site Tavern & Restaurant is open Thursday-Saturday Noon -10pm and Sunday from 10am-10pm.

Neighborhood info

There's plenty of history in our little town of Jefferson. You can tour the one room school house just down the road or visit a few of our local gift shops within walking distance to the Inn. A short 20 minute drive will get you to Howe's Cave and Cooperstown is about 40 minutes away. There are many farm stands and local markets during the Spring, Summer & Fall. Winter offers ski slopes about 40 minutes away and there are many places to cross-country ski nearby as well as state regulated snowmobile trails.
