Nestled in the desirable Goldenview hillside community above south Anchorage on 5 quiet acres of gardens and woodlands where we often see wildlife, including a moose who births mooselings every other year. The second floor suite is like having your own apartment: very comfortable space and a peaceful atmosphere in a smoke-free environment. The upper floor of my home: 2 furnished bedrooms, one large bedroom has dramatic views of Mt. Susitna from a walk-out deck, the second bedroom has a sunnier exposure and views of the pond and acreage behind my home. The two rooms open onto large loft sitting areas, with picture window views open to the main floor below both bedrooms share one private bathroom. Furniture includes: Bedroom 1: Queen bed, antique dresser, end tables, lamp, leather sitting chair; Bedroom 2: Full bed, large screen TV on shelving, Double chair w/ ottoman, desk and chair. Lofts have bookshelves and decorative antiques. Shared spaces include a fully stocked designer kitchen, two open-style living areas, a formal dining area.

I enjoy meeting different people, especially travelers to Alaska and can act a resource to find wonderful things to do. I respect privacy or can be as social as you desire. I've a Master's Degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. I see clients in a portion of my home that is very separate from the bedrooms and upstairs living areas. There are also doors that can be closed for privacy/noise although this has not been a problem. I've also a rescue Siberian husky who is very sweet and socialized. He is a Service Dog for my clients who get a bit nervous around clinician visits. He tends to just go lay down if he doesn't detect a job to do but can be a tad energetic too.

Anchorage is full of attractions whether you want to hit the ski areas (both cross country and alpine), explore downtown and its many restaurants, see a show, visit the native cultural museum, fine art museum, science center, more. There are often moose and other wildlife roaming this neighborhood. I've seen lynx, wolves, coyotes, bear in the summer months, many different types of birds... This is a quiet neighborhood with large lots. My neighbors get along well and tend to help each other out as needed.
