My condo is right on the best quietest beach in Maui. SUGAR BEACH. Do not be fearful of booking Kihei after the rains as the County is fast at work to do the needed repairs. They know that visitors are very important to the economy. We are also in the Hotel District so we are not impacted by Bill 9. It is great for canoeing, walking, sunning, playing, swimming without worrying about surfers and windsurfers . Canoe rentals are down or up beach within yards away and welcome visitors to join in on Tues and Thurs.I always replace worn items and my associate on island is a perfectionist so my place is always ready for the next guest. We also include water and snacks for your first day besides laundry detergent and toiletries. Info on desk in binders will help you enjoy yourself using all the condo has to offer. But, I would like an email so I can send you even more- things to do, places to eat and best beaches. Cant put it all here!
I am a superhost on airbnb and love to stay there myself 2-3x year. Being a retired educator I am empathic to the needs of others and make sure there is everything you would need to cook, keep the place tidy if you prefer. There is a real homey feel here at Nani Kai Hale- it is not a hotel where you feel unwelcomed with hands out for tips every where you go. It is a residence for several people who have lived there for years. The wifi and TV are great options and we put in a special sports package as well. Outside our HOA put in new tables, chairs, loungers and the BBQs are plentiful, clean and kept up. Our manager is there daily taking care of the grounds.
The neighborhood of North Kihei is right off the highway and the closest to the town where you can shop at Costco, Walmart the new Target. Even Jersey Mikes moved in! The best is my fav fitness center. Planet Fitness came in 2019. Yay! Further south is more shopping, restaurants, where we have the great Friday nites Food truck event on the street next to the Longs Drugs (yes, it is still called Longs!) We are a short distance from the wonderful area of Wilea where grander shopping and restaurants line the streets. Grand Wilea, Four Seasons, Tommy Bahama, you name it they are there! People come from miles just to get their bakery items and best shave ice which is about 1 block south of our complex. Wonderful to get up in the morning and walk over for coffee and many kinds of breakfast and sweet treats. Yay! the ABC store is there too , farmers market? Right next to it all!
