In the 1950s, Kepoikai Aluli purchased the land where our hotel sits. Back then, the beach was mostly empty with just a few homes along the bay. He'd come with his 'ohana (family) for long visits from Oʻahu where they lived, and they'd spend their days swimming, fishing, and riding horses. Nāpili Village been around since the 1960s, and after many decades under lease, the property is once again under the management Aluli ʻohana (family). We are one of the only locally owned and operated hotels in West Maui. We completed renovations in March of 2020 and re-opened in July 2020 as the Nāpili Village Hotel.

Located just steps from beautiful Nāpili Beach, the Nāpili Village Hotel is perfect for Maui visitors in search of value and the feeling of home. We're a smaller property of 30 serviced apartments (also known as an apart-hotel), which combine the vacation rental amenities of a condo unit with some hotel-style features. Please note that there are no TVs in any of the units. Each unit is newly furnished, with 450 square feet of living, dining, and kitchen space. Every kitchen features full-size appliances and is stocked with all the essential cooking and dining tools. Every unit’s lanai looks out onto our interior gardens and swimming pool. It’s a layout that gives Nāpili Village a private, tucked-away feel. Most days are breezy and bright, and there’s a/c if it ever gets too hot. The beach at Nāpili is the most beautiful in West Maui, and it’s just a minute’s walk away down a quiet lane. Whether you’re strolling Nāpili Beach with a cup of coffee or a cold beer, there is simply no better place to start and end the day.

Nāpili is located in West Maui, just south of Kapalua. Maui is famous for its microclimates, and Nāpili tends to be cooler and greener than nearby Kāʻanapali. Nāpili Bay forms a near-perfect horseshoe, and its sandy bottom and gentle surf make for one of Maui's best swimming and snorkeling beaches.
