Property info

Summary Morning fog lifts to reveal blue Pacific horizons -- this is ocean-view living at its best. Curl up by the fireplace as fog rolls in off the Pacific. Your deck is a front-row seat to the Pacific. Room for 4 in this 1-bedroom home. Walk to local restaurants, river access, and Gualala Point Regional Park. River kayaking, beach bonfires, and redwood hikes -- all from your doorstep. The space A walkable, in-town location meets a tranquil country setting at this inviting home in Gualala, a escape with blue-water views of the Pacific Ocean. In this secluded coastal town on the rugged Northern California Coast, you'll enjoy a quiet piece of property that's surrounded by wind-blown cypress and lush vegetation, backing up to a seasonal creek. The interior makes use of natural wood, including beamed ceilings, richly hued walls, and a staircase that was hand-crafted in the Craftsman style. When the sun is shining on the coast, you can walk to the bluff at Robinson Gulch, light the gas grill for an afternoon barbecue, or simply relax in the fresh air in the yard or on one of the two decks with seasonal views of the creek. And when the fog rolls in, you can retreat indoors to toss the provided beach towels in the washer/dryer, warm up by the gas fireplace, and watch a DVD or stream a favorite on the Smart TV. When it's time to turn in, you'll find one bedroom with a queen-size bed on the main level and another, loft-style room with a queen-size bed upstairs; both bedrooms have access to an outdoor deck. Glennen Beach and Cooks Beach are both less than two miles north. KITCHEN & DINING Craft your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher, making cleanup a breeze. With seating for your group, mealtimes become part of the experience. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Choose from 1 bedroom. Altogether, the home comfortably sleeps 2. PROPERTY AMENITIES -- 1 bedroom, 2 bath -- Gas fireplace

Trails lead from your door to the bluffs, beaches, and through the forest. Getting around What's nearby: This home sits just north of downtown Gualala, between California Highway 1 and the ocean. If you're looking to take a scenic drive, head north on Highway 1 to the charming town of Anchor Bay (three miles north) and the beautiful Point Arena Lighthouse (18 miles north) for sweeping views of ocean waves and rugged sea stacks. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area. Other things to note Four beach chairs (in the bench on the deck) and beach towels Guests must have their own accounts for streaming services Keep your eyes on the horizon from December to April -- gray whales migrate just offshore, and this property has a front-row seat. Visit in spring for wildflower season -- the hills above Gualala and the river trails burst with lupine and California poppies. June through September brings the warmest weather. Morning fog is part of the charm -- it usually clears to reveal blue skies. Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.
